CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Suessiones. Circa 60-30/25 BC. AE (Bronze, 27 mm, 2.27 g, 1 h). Celticized head of Janus; to left and right, annulets; below, two volutes. Rev. Celticized lion standing left; above, three annulets, one below. DT 563. LT 8106. SLM 350. A beautifully patinated example with a particularly charming lion. Good very fine.
